Recently it runs on multiple perl threads ( a lighter regex just finds and queues file scopes declarations and function bodies to more detailed parsing ). It works with the backend this way also. You need to specify MINLEN for how many characters to queue minimum on a worker (of-course aligned to the actual semantics of the file - which does support extreme cases of typedef overuse) and MAXTHREADS to amount of threads.. It does runs fast this way (because I guess I have linear complexity).
